ב-17 ביוני ייערך אירוע לכבוד 30 שנה להקמת צופי לוס אנג’לס בסן פרננדו וואלי, זהו אירוע מאוד מרגש המיועד לכל מי שאי פעם הייתה נגיעה למפעל החינוכי הנקרא “שבט חן”- אנא עיזרו לנו ליצור קשר עם כל בוגרי השבט, הוועדים המתנדבים, וכל מי ששבט הצופים בוואלי היה חלק מחייו בשלב כזה או אחר- אם אתם נמצאים תחת הקטגוריות האלו- נשמח לחומרים הקשורים לשבט לאורך השנים (תמונות, כתבות, טלפונים, רשימות)

On June 17th will be having our 30 years celebration for the Israeli scouts in San Fernando Valley.
It is going to be a very emotional event for those who ever “shevet chen” was a significant part of their life.
Please help us find those people!

הורים יקרים שלום,
הפעולה השבוע תעסוק בנושא מעורבות בקהילה- תוך שיתוף פעולה עם פרויקט מקסים של הפדרציה היהודית החניכים שלנו הולכים לעבור פעילות בנושע עזרה לקהילה, ואיך בתור תנועת נוער הם יכולים להשפיע ולשנות דברים שמפריעים להם וחשובים להם בחברה אשר סובבת אותם.
חשוב שהחניכים שלנו יגיעו בזמן ועם החאקי הכי יפה שיש בארון! אנחנו נעביר פעילות לצד וביחד עם גורמים בקהילה וחשוב שהילדים שלנו יהיו ויראו נפלאים כמו שהם.
בנוסף חשוב לי לשתף את כל הורי השבט, ששבוע הבא חניכי השכבות הבוגרות שלנו (ט’-יב’) ישתתפו באירוע הצופים הכי גדול בשנה- מחנה שכב”ג. 450 ילדים מכול ארצות הברית מגיעים למפגש מיוחד במינו, שעה מאיתנו באוהיי. אני גאה לכתוב בהתרגשות ש-70 חניכים מתוך כל אותם ילדים הם חניכי שבט חן.
ואני מצטערת מראש על כך שתקופה אחרונה את שומעים את הילדים הולכים כל הזמן לצופים- זה רק בגלל שחשוב להם לזכות בתחרויות ולהציג לכל הצופים בארה”ב את שבט חן.
אסיפת הורים למחנה שכב”ג תתקיים ביום שני הקרוב ב-JCC, האסיפה הינה חובה לכל החניכים אשר משתתפים במחנה שכב”ג והוריהם, אנו נמסור אינפורמציה חשובה מאוד אודות המחנה -שכבות ט’ עד יב’ בלבד!

| Dear parents,
This week’s peola is regarding community involvement.
In cooperation with a wonderful project of the Jewish federation, all the chanichim are going to talk on Sunday about the importance of contributing to society, and how can they help more as a part of a youth movement.
Please make sure your kids are coming on time and with their best looking chaki! We are going to conduct the scouts activity among the community-it’s important to show how wonderful our kids are!
In a week from now, our senior group (9th-12th) are leaving for the biggest event of the year in tzofim- machane shachbag! An exciting MIFGASH of 450 Israeli kids from all over the USA. I am proud to say that 70 of them is our Shevet Chen kids! (Almost aQuarter!)
The kids needs to work very hard to present shevet chen the best they can – im sorry that in the past week and the next one your kids will be a lot in tzofim- they just want to win the competitions and be the best they can be!
A MANDATORY parents meeting will be this upcoming Monday in the JCC for all kids that are sighed for machane- ONLY 9TH-12TH.
